Happy New Year!

2012 is upon us! I hope everyone has had a their year start the way they wanted it too.

Resolutions are ubiquitous with the start of the new year. The expectation to make them, pressure keep them and reach them are great. Whatever you have decided to resolve for 2012 remember you are making a lifestyle change. Be kind to yourself! It's new and it's easy to beat yourself up for falling off the wagon. Get right back up or reassess you resolution. Maybe it was a bit too ambitious and you need to break it down into smaller steps.

Perhaps you're one of those people that doesn't make a resolution. There's nothing wrong with that! But if there is an area of your life you would like to improve, figure out what exactly you'd like to change and why - and the why is very important, if it's not for your personal self satisfaction then it'll be hard to keep. Once you're clear about your resolution pick your own "new year's day" and start.

I hope to maintain this blog more regularly (one of my resolutions, again) and wish everyone peace, prosperity and happiness for 2012.
