I'm starting my New Year's resolution early - which is to beef up this website with a blog. The holiday season is well underway; this time of year is difficult for many in a myriad of ways: old family problems arise at the dinner table, how to manage your money when buying presents for a list that seems to get bigger and bigger, or longing for a loved one that has passed away. I find that during this time of year, I act as a safe base (like the one you ran to as a kid during a game of freeze tag!) helping my patients feel safe and protected. We all deserve to feel this way - all year long!
I would like to take the time to wish you and yours a peaceful holiday season. May you find peace and joy in 2011 and beyond.
